Often when a tree begins to block light to a property or interferes with vehicles and pedestrians it will be lifted. The height at which the crown is lifted will be determined my measuring in metres from ground level.
A tree’s canopy can grow extremely quickly over just a few years which can block light and also encroach on other peoples property. By performing a crown reduction MGC can reduce the size of the trees canopy.
Rather than reducing the crown of the tree, thinning allows secondary branches to be removed which can help more light through the canopy without reducing the main crown in size.
